As the week progressed the visitor numbers picked up and with a total of around 45 serious visitors, the vast majority of whom were from outside our church, we regard the event as a good success. The feedback from those who took the time to appreciate the paintings was very encouraging and many acknowledged, and expressed their gratitude for the dedication and hard work that went into creating the paintings. For some it was the fine art work which inspired them, for others it was their personal identification with the exposition accompanying the paintings and still others showed their appreciation simply by the amount of time they spent examining the paintings and reading the accompanying words. Our grateful thanks go to David Friend and all members of the Apocalypse of John Study Group for their help and support in allowing us to bring these fabulous pictures to the town of Paisley and the people of Scotland.
